When Women Heal

When women heal, something extraordinary happens. Healing rarely stops with us. It ripples outward into our families, our friendships, our communities, and even the generations that come after us.  When a woman reconnects with her own strength, she begins to relate to the world differently. She brings greater presence to her relationships. She models courage and self-respect. She creates new patterns where old ones once lived.

In this circle, we will explore the powerful ways that personal healing shapes the world around us. Rather than seeing healing as something we do only for ourselves, we will reflect on how tending to our own hearts can become a catalyst for healing for those around us.

You do not need to have everything figured out to join this conversation. Healing is not a destination. It is a living process that unfolds over time.

When women heal, hearts open.
Families shift.
New stories begin.

And together, we remember that our personal renewal has the power to healing our world.

  • Thulani DeMarsay

I created this space for women moving through seasons of transition and renewal, especially those sensing that life is asking something new of them. Whether navigating changes in career, relationships, identity, or purpose, many women find themselves standing at a threshold, listening for what comes next. My Heart Renewal was inspired by my own journey through transition and by the profound power of sisterhood, reflection, and community during times of change.

Professionally, I’ve spent nearly 30 years as an organization development consultant and leadership coach, working at the intersection of change management, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and organizational effectiveness. I also support leaders in developing a contemplative practice. My doctoral research focused on contemplative leadership and how mindfulness, meditation, silence, yoga, and other practices strengthen resilience, especially during times of disruption and change. As a retreat facilitator, I’m deeply passionate about guiding individual and group transformation. I’m especially devoted to contemplative leadership and walking alongside women and leaders who are navigating important life transitions.
