Forgiveness is not about forgetting, excusing, or pretending the pain did not happen. It is about opening space within ourselves to move forward with clarity, dignity, and peace. Many of us carry wounds from relationships that have left us heartbroken, betrayed, or abandoned. These may be romantic partnerships, family ties, or friendships that fractured under the weight of hurt. When we hold on to the pain, we often hold ourselves back. Forgiveness invites us to release what no longer serves us so we can walk in freedom.

In this two-part circle, we will:

  • Name the wound and acknowledge the heartbreak, betrayal, or loss.
  • Explore forgiveness as an act of liberation that allows us to release resentment and reclaim peace.
  • Practice rebuilding self-trust by learning to honor our intuition, our boundaries, and our truth.
  • Lean into compassionate presence by extending grace first to ourselves and, when the time is right, to others.

Together, we will use practical tools such as journaling and guided reflection, along with simple practices of meditation, prayer, and ritual. These circles are not about rushing the process but about creating space for genuine healing. Forgiveness is not a single act. It is a process of unfolding, not a linear path, but a journey of returning to wholeness.
